Cash Donations - The proceeds from the 2010 12
oz. Regatta are to be donated to the Annapolis Community Boating. We
need help with some of the costs of running the event like hiring the
band, buying equipment for the racing, t-shirts, the pond, etc.

Merchandise - We
are looking for merchandise or gift cards in duplicate to offer up one
item to our winning racers and the second in the fund raising raffle
held the same day. The raffle offers the spectators a chance to win
along side our victorious captains and proceeds go to the charity! If

Volunteer! Volunteers are needed at the event to help assist
our diligent yet tired workers. Please email our volunteer coordinator
or click this calendar link to sign up.

Chesapeake Outdoor Group is a non-profit 501C-3
organization formed to help improve the community, environment, and the
quality of life through philanthropic/fun activities! The small member
fee and charitable donations fund our activities and fund raisers! All
profits raised are in turn donated help other non-profits and the
environment around our communities and lives.
COG's help is given where ever needed, whether it is a
social situation needing volunteers or getting dirty with Mother Nature.
Diversity of charitable activities and adding some fun philanthropic
events of our own keep our members happy and helps drive our group. We
do so much but charge so little we require the help of businesses and
individuals like you to keep us rolling. None of our hard-working Board
Directors are paid and all monies are given to worthy causes in our
community.
Event T-shirts - We are looking to pick up a gross
of T-Shirts for the event. Heavy-weight cotton, four-color printing. We
expect these to run around $1,200. COG logo on the front, regatta and
sponsor logos on the back. You'll get design review and approval.
Build a Beer Can Boat kits - The 50 five-gallon buckets and
everything except the beer that goes into them runs about $500.
Boartyard Bar & Grill has generously sponsored the buckets again for
2010. Many thanks to Dick Franyo and the Boatyard Bar & Grill.
"The Pool" - Last year's pool had some design weaknesses that
we are looking to correct with a larger, better engineered model. This
will run about $400 for supplies to build a new pool that will last us a
couple of years. We should be able to figure out a way to get your logo
on their somewhere.
Prizes - A pair of gift certificates for $50, $75,
or $100 would be good prizes. We are asking for "pairs" of prizes as we
would like to raffle a prize to the spectators for every prize given to
a competitor. We are planning to go 10 deep on prizes.
Donations - Of course a cash donation to AMM on behalf of the regatta would be greatly appreciated.
